Recently my wife and I purchased a piece of property near our home in Somerset , the land is steep and did not have much for access throughout the property , that was until I reached out to an ad placed in the Gold panner . Erik took my call and met me on a weekend in the rain to look at the property , Weather prevented us from getting right to work but fast forward several weeks I now have an abundance of access throughout the land , his expertise and skills are top notch and we couldn't be happier with what was accomplished in a short time .

Ernie and I needed some work done at our home.....big equipment work. Summit Contractors, Inc., were recommended by others in the "business" which says a lot about a company. Erik's company not only did an amazing job, but did it quickly, tidy and beautifully. The look on Ernie's face told me how happy he was with what he wanted done. Erik and Larry, good people, doing great work. A fair days work, for a fair price. The movement of dirt is an ART, just watch this company....and you will see what I mean. We love our new roads! Lucky for us, they have agreed to do more work for us in the future.

    Response from the owner

    Thank you! Erik

After an excruciating & failed attempt -months on end to get answers for our future development and retirement property..... * I finally got in touch with a Gentleman by the name of Eric at Summit Contractors Inc . What a relief! The 4 stars are based solely on the professionalism, patience & information I received. I will be using Summit Contractors Inc. services in the near future in (Reno & surrounding area) Silver Springs, NV. ☆☆☆☆☆5 star review upon completion of rendered services. Highly recommend this company =)

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Erik is named in every one of these accounts, and the work described is heavy site work rather than callouts. Larry describes steep land bought near his home with almost no access across it, and Erik meeting him on a weekend to look at what could be done. Repeat custom is the pattern. Christy describes several projects on one property, and the four star account praises the work while being clear its rating rests on how long an earlier stage took.

Before You Call

On rural land the access route usually costs more than people expect and shapes everything after it. Ask what has to happen before the system can be reached at all.
