HORRIBLE experience with White Excavating. They replaced the septic tank on our Lake House after being recommended by our yard man. We contract with them in October of 2025; they FINALLY finished the project 8 months and $6,500.00 later after carelessly destroying our front and back yards. 😤 While they could have easily dumped their golf ball sized rocks for the project in our driveway, they instead scattered them ALL OVER our FRONT AND BACK yards making mowing what grass was left after the project impossible, for the very man who mows our yard, the man who recommended them!

    Response from the owner

Thank you for your review! We did in fact put your septic off because it was too wet to install and we did have to dump the septic rock in the grass due to your driveway being blacktop! However we came back and fixed a line that was cut that ran some lights in a shed and to clean the rocks up that your complaining about and Harley rake the yard which has to be done when it is dry and cannot be done when wet. We did have our Harley rake down for a bit which put us begind but in the end we got all of the rock we had dumped cleaned up with rakes and Harley rake. The only rock that is left is the natural rock that is there on a lake lot. You should be able to tell the difference in chert rock and red rock.

We called and they came right out. Fixed our drain line under the trailer and cleaned out our septic tank. Had us back up and going in a few hours and were very reasonably priced! Talked to the owner on the phone and he was very nice. The guys who came out were very nice and respectful!!! I would absolutely recommend.

Needed my septic tank pumped and I kept getting the run around from another company. I called white’s septic and he told me he would have a guy out the same day, he was there when I got home. The man was very professional and nice pumped the tank and looked everything over to make sure there was no other issues. On top of that they were cheaper than 4 other businesses I called very satisfied with White’s will definitely use them in the future for plumbing or septic issues.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Nick and Keith describe crews arriving the same day for septic work, while Angela says a drain-line repair and tank cleaning had her system working again within hours. Steve says the crew located a tank beneath his porch and found a way to service it.

Local Ground

Around Paris, the main drain-field limit is bottom-layer seepage: water moves through the soil too fast to treat effluent before it reaches groundwater. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Paris city page for the full soil profile.

Before You Call

A homeowner choosing between routine tank pumping and 24/7 emergency service can base the call on whether there is an active backup, overflow or system failure. One useful phone question is how soon the crew can address the problem.
