Title: Disappointing Septic Tank Cleaning Service. I’m just getting to write this review. very disappointed with the septic tank cleaning service I received on 7/17/26. The job was not done properly, when I called I was quoted $325, I was charged $400 and $264 of that for some liquid they poured in my tank, sludge was still on the bottom of my tank he did not pump that up. He told my son it was grease buildup. Last time I used this company was in October of 2025, I should not have to pump my tank every 7 months.

Initially the service was explained and optional add ons were explained but when I received my invoice I was completely shocked by the summary Rafael wrote. He inserted “maybe” scenarios about my drain field which he never inspected. What business gives you an invoice for services you are paying for to then state maybe scenario on things that could happen within 3 years to a drain fields that they never even inspected? Awful. The Supervisor Tim then insults me by saying that I am asking them to lie, but he dully noted that they didn’t inspect the drain field.

Quoted $400 for pumping service, one bath and one kitchen less than 1000SF house. The tech called and said additional $800 after open the lid. I said no. Then he said additional $400 due to shopping bags!!. I was at work and said ok. He said he will send the shopping bag pictures in the tank and never received. Watch for this company's business practise!!! Find someone local and honest business.

Was told over the phone the pump out would be $325 and upon inspection there would be a quote if there is anything that needed repaired. Techs got there and yes there was some water maybe 1 foot deep by 3 ft and immediately said it would be a upchrage of $426 because of excess gallons. Ask the dispatcher/manager what determines the amount of excess gallons. "His reply is I dont know again ask the technician." Techs were just doing there job of a rip off company. I can only imagine what they do to the elderly people. Please steer clear.

    Response from the owner

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your feedback. The price quoted over the phone was for a standard pump-out based on the information available at the time of scheduling. Once our technician arrived and inspected the property, additional volume and saturation conditions were identified that would have impacted the scope of the service. Because of those conditions, updated pricing was provided before any work was performed. You elected not to proceed with the service, and no pumping or additional work was completed. Our goal is to provide customers with an accurate assessment of the system once it can be inspected on-site, as conditions are not always visible or known during the initial scheduling call. We appreciate the opportunity to visit your property and wish you the best moving forward.

Local Ground

Around Lakeland, the main drain-field limit is a high water table: the saturated zone sits too close to the surface for a conventional field. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Lakeland city page for the full soil profile.

Before You Call

A homeowner may need to decide whether drain field repair or replacement fits the system. One useful question to ask is how the crew evaluates which of those services suits the property.
