I had an inspection completed by Phil Zimmerman that was completed July 9th three days after it was pumped July 6th. I am very unsatisfied with the results and have called back multiple times after living in my new house for 2 weeks I have had nothing but problems and will never suggest this company to anyone I know.

Unprofessional conduct. Left the yard wrecked. Dug where they didn’t need to dig. Stole top soil from my landlord without her permission. Crooks. Do not hire.

    Response from the owner

Please be advised Zimmerman Septic was hired by the Homeowner not Helen the Tenant. Every job is provided an Estimate that lists exactly what is covered and not covered. The estimate is required to be signed by the Homeowner not the Tenant. On this project yes additional digging was required to locate an additional line. Removal of the dirt was approved by the Homeowner, so she wouldn’t end up with a mound of dirt not needed. Again, the Estimate was signed by the Homeowner not the Tenant Helen. The homeowner does not have a problem with the work that was done. The homeowner was very happy to get the failed plugged up septic system abandoned and connected to the new city sewer line.

Unprofessional and unethical. They were hired by our buyers (we were selling our house) to do a septic inspection. The inspection report showed it was a passing/working system, but the owner of Zimmerman (NOT the person who even did the inspection) spoke with the buyer and told them the system may be failing prematurely and that we needed to do a bunch of work (none of which was in the report as an action item).

Zimmerman and his team are very knowledgeable working with the city and knowing what needs to be done. Good communication and project done in timely manner. Would recommend for big projects.
