Very disappointed with my recent experience with Total Septic. I’ve used them several times in the past for both my home and my business. Just nine days ago, I paid $220 to have a septic issue resolved, and unfortunately the same problem returned. When I called to ask them to come back out and take a look, instead of first trying to understand why the issue had returned so quickly, I was immediately told I would be charged another $220. To make matters worse, the person I spoke with on the phone was very rude and unhelpful.

    Response from the owner

We are very disappointed with your 1 star review especially after working with each other for years. Per your request, we did send you a plumber 9 days ago to diagnose your issue and he was able to fix it within the service call fee. We do offer warranties on parts, just not the labor and I don’t think this is what you expected to hear today. Unfortunately, we do not warranty service calls and you would have to pay for us to return to diagnose your current issue. We hope you reconsider and give us another chance as we have been professionally servicing the Orlando area since 1992.

Have had to have them out to pump my septic a few times over the past few months. Always there when they say they will be, very reliable. Used them to install new drain field and it went flawlessly, thanks to Wilmer.

    Response from the owner

Thank you Destin for the great review on our septic services! Our guys are the best in the area and Wilmer is a super nice, knowledgeable technician.

I was very disappointed in the customer service I received from total environmental services. I did not know there was a $225 fee for them to come out whether they could do the job or not. That was never disclosed to me up front.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. After a customer schedules an appointment with us, our system sends a notification by email and/or text with our service terms and conditions. We also call when we are headed to jobsite. When we cannot service a customer due to circumstances beyond our control, we charge a service call fee. Our tech noted the presence of heavy roots as to the reason we were unable to pump out our septic tank.

If the attitude of the employees is a representation of the company overall I would stay far away from this business. One of their trucks was blocking a neighborhood street I live in. I kindly asked them if they could back up a few feet was met with an aggressive hostile old man saying he will move the truck when he's done. After about 10 to 15 minutes they moved the truck .

    Response from the owner

Our technicians were in the middle of a septic service of your neighbor’s home when you approached them about moving the truck. A pump truck is not something you can just pack up quickly. We regret that we could not meet your expectation of the truck moving immediately after your. As soon as you called our office to complain and we called our technician who was doing all he could to wrap up his job.

Kudos to Total Septic and all their help throughout the years. Matt, Elton, Quan, and all others who have had to come out and assist with my system have been nothing but kind, professional, HONEST, knowledgeable, and willing to walk me through all the steps. I appreciate and trust these guys with finding solutions and fixing the problem.

    Response from the owner

Thank you very much Patti for the great review on our septic services! We appreciate your loyalty as a longtime customer. Our technicians are knowledgeable and they are nicest guys in the area. Your kind words will be shared with our team.

Most reviews mention Wilmer or James, and several describe long-term service or emergency repairs. Esmeralda says she has worked with the company for six years for two installations, repairs, and system cleanings. Guy says an ancient septic tank became a sinkhole in his backyard, and the company sent someone the same day to inspect it. Patti says Matt, Elton, and Quan have helped her with her system over the years and walked her through the steps to fix problems. Gregg says the crew showed up on time for a new drain field installation, though he noted the permit process takes a long time.
