While we didn't end up using Spotted Dog because our situation was very unique, Randy and Angela were so responsive and generous with their time. Angela got back to our online query instantly and Randy spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with us going over options and alternatives. So grateful and impressed.

Our aging and poorly-implemented septic system was in dire need of an overhaul. Randy and his team replaced electric lines, installed a modern lift station, and laid a new supply line to the leach field. They took care to leave landscaping intact (except where we asked them to do a little demolition), tacked up fence access sections at the end of every work day, and were considerate and professional in their treatment of us and our property.

Randy was a true professional. He was very knowledgeable and was able to break all aspects down for me that was requested. I truly believe he went above and beyond to help me out. I would highly recommend.

Randy did an amazing job replacing my sewer line. After working with him I wouldn’t trust anyone else with this work; he gives fair prices and won’t try to upsell you like the other sewer repair companies do. He’s also really good with communication and scheduling which is hard to come by these days. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend him for any sewer line work you need done.

    Response from the owner

Thanks so much, Joe, for sharing your kind words. Means a lot to us!

Randy helped me after I had an electric line fail in my direct burial lines that go from the utilities transformer to my main electrical panel. I needed a 160-foot-long trench opened on fairly steep hillside that has many large rocks, grown scrub oak stands, and other obstructions. After calling other contractors whose bids were unreasonably high, I called Randy, and he promptly inspected the site. I found him to be knowledgeable and affordable. He said he could work my project into his schedule fairly quickly, and he started the job 2 days later.

    Response from the owner

Wow, you're the best, George. Thank you so much for your kind words. Means a lot to us!

Most of the work in customer reviews ran through Randy, with Angela working alongside him. Jason's overhaul of an aging septic system covered new electric lines, a modern lift station and a new supply line to the leach field, and Randy came in early after a night of snow to clear the equipment before inspection day. Christina got a French drain put in across two weekends and reports "no more flooding problems." Sewer line repairs fill the reviews from Fred and Joe, both ending in recommendations. Trenching moved fast when it mattered: George's hillside trench started two days after his call, and Clark's gas line trench went under a tree root on short notice with Randy and Brian on the job.

Before You Call

When a system fails or a new build needs its first one, the decision is what a tank, system and leach field should look like on your particular lot.
