About Septic Connection

From the website of Septic Connection, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Septic Connection works on septic systems in Greenville, from routine pumping through to putting a new system in. Soil percolation testing sits behind the installation work, since South Carolina requires it before a system can be designed. The company also gives plain instructions for the visit itself. Clear whatever is covering the access lids and leave room for the truck near the tank.

Excellent service and great pricing! Technician came on time and worked efficiently with getting it pumped out in a timely manner. Thank you!

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the 5 stars!

    March 2026

Pros: high availability, technician (Blake) was friendly and efficient and clear, no big sewage messes left behind, very low fuss and quick from start to finish Cons; ~$26-$50 higher cost than at least 3 local competitors and unfortunately it was not disclosed at any point that a card payment would be charged an additional 4% fee. Which is not a small amount when your services are in the hundreds. Had I been made aware beforehand that, in 2026, we're still upcharging digital payments, I'd have been able to prepare cash.

Septic Connections was the most professional, knowledgeable, and full service local septic company. They helped educate us on having a septic system and maintain it properly. As a full service septic contractor, they have the ability to troubleshoot the entire system and install new systems if needed. They own their equipment. This was our first experience with a septic system. The driver, Alex, was friendly, knowledgeable and left the area clean. Alex was on time and very professional. The owner, Garret, was readily available to answer any questions.

    Response from the owner

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review!

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Technicians are named in most of these accounts, Blake, Phillip and Alex among them, and short notice comes up repeatedly. Raveen describes a sewer pump overflowing after a hurricane and the company pumping it without hesitation. One detailed account is positive about the work and critical about the price, describing a cost roughly 26 to 50 dollars above three local competitors that was not raised beforehand. Asking what the visit will cost before booking is the practical lesson in it.

South Carolina's onsite wastewater register lists this company twice, as a tier 2 installer and as a pumper and hauler, under permits 24-367-24066 and 30-368-30022. Those two entries cover putting a system in and emptying one. Holding both is less common than holding either. It means the register supports the installation side as well as the pumping, which is the pairing that matters when a system needs replacing rather than servicing.

Local Ground

Around Greenville, the main drain-field limit is slow water movement: water leaves the soil too slowly for a conventional field to keep up. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Greenville city page for the full soil profile.

Before You Call

If the tank has never been located, that search is the first job and everything else follows it. Ask whether locating is part of the pump-out price or billed on its own.
