Septic Services in Charlotte

Quoted from the website of Septic Blue of Charlotte, read 15 Sept 2026.

Soil sets the terms for any new septic system in Charlotte. The USDA soil survey rates 52.8% of the rated ground as very limited for septic tank absorption fields and another 46.5% as somewhat limited, and the most common limit is water that leaves the soil too slowly. Permits, soil evaluation and system design are what the company says a proper installation requires, and on ground where water moves this slowly that evaluation is the step to get right.

I do not recommend this company because their prices they gave me were false and when they gave me the service it went up from $700 to $1600 without a valid explanation and their employee told me that if I didn't pay they were going to put a LIEN on my property and I could never talk to the manager. I don't recommend it nor will I hire them again

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the opportunity to respond, because the facts of this job do not match the account given here. Before any work began, our technician reviewed the full scope of the recommended services and the total price with you, and you signed an authorization approving that scope and that price. There was no "false" quote, the price you signed off on is the price you were charged. Nothing changed during the job; the technician performed exactly what was authorized: pumping the primary septic tank, pumping the separate pump tank, a pump-system inspection, and replacement of the effluent filter. Your property has two tanks, not one, which is why the job involved more than a single-tank pump. We also want to correct the claim that you couldn't reach a manager, our office is available to any customer with a billing concern, and disputing a signed authorization after the work is completed is not the same as being denied access to management. When you stated after the work was finished that you did not intend to pay, our technician correctly explained that payment was owed for the authorized, completed work, and that continued non-payment would need to be documented and handled through the appropriate collections process, that is standard, lawful practice, not a threat, and it accurately reflects what happens with any unpaid invoice. For the record, we also flagged for you that the pump tank alarm light was illuminated during the visit, which indicates a condition that should be addressed to avoid backups or further damage, we stopped short of additional work only because of the payment dispute, not because of anything on our end. We stand behind our technician's documentation and behind the signed authorization for this job. Septic Blue prices and performs work transparently, and we will continue to do so.

Tony was personable and professional. My service call was after five on a hot summer day. He gave me all the time I needed to understand the problem and the solutions.

    Response from the owner

Thank you! You just made our whole day.

Beware!!! Truly deserve 0 stars. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The technician as well as his supervisor was rude and extremely unprofessional. We order for septic tank to be pumped, technician insisted on doing a inspection which means he had to dig two holes. I informed him we only ordered for the tank to be pumped and the last time they only had to did one hole. Spoke with technician supervisor and he informed me that the company policy was to perform a inspection when pumping a tank. I then said, I hear you but that's not what I ordered nor was that explained.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Several customers name the technician who came out. Tony appears in five reviews, from a service call after five on a hot summer day to a visit where he trained a new employee on the job, and Scott, Jay and Bradley pick up their own praise for pump-outs. Charles, who scheduled online, called the crew "upfront about costs", and other reviewers mention how promptly the crew got to work.

Before You Call

If a house sale is driving the timeline, the septic inspection is the service to schedule first. On the phone, ask whether the tank can be pumped during that same visit or whether pumping needs its own appointment.
