My last experience with Scott Septic was frustrating and full of too many surprises.Prior work had indicated their quotes were relatively accurate and communication was consistent. So when I found the main to my septic was cracked and required replacement, I choose Scott for the work. The original quote was for $5610., noting the care that would be taken with the removal and placement of the bluestone from the patio. The work was done at the end of January. The team arrived and immediately seemed to be off target. They began to dig well beyond where the main exited the basement.

We researched multiple septic firms since we prefer to shop around. Unlike one vendor we called, Scott did not push to schedule, nor did they give us a rehearsed scolding when we said we hadn’t pumped our septic in years. Instead, Melissa patiently answered all our questions and provided a quote. This was our first time hiring a septic firm, so Melissa said we should be comfortable with our choice and shop around. She even gave the name of another firm that she thought also does a great job. Guess what, that company was on our short list to call.

They increased their price. They are charging for everything including mileage, debris, you name it they are adding the extra charge.

I have been using Scott exclusively for 10 years now. He is gold in my opinion. It is unusual to find a contractor that is not only knowledgeable in his/her field, but has customer service of the highest quality. He will make note to call me after a service to explain what he found and what is the best strategy going forward. He truly cares, and is not one of the typical Do the job and run.
