We got so much run around for our septic service. We called one company thinking they're going to do it, and another one shows up, we call someone else and company #3 shows up and nobody knows what to do or what needs done. I looked again and saw Rick's was highly rated. Brent came and spent about an hour explaining options and what needed to happen. Such a nice guy! Thanks for all your hard work and complete lack of "run around."

    Response from the owner

You are so very welcome.Thank you for the opportunity to do the work for you.

Brent is a great guy, is honest and very knowledgeable. He came out on time for the estimate and to do the repairs. He was expecting that the age of the home and system would be worse than it actually was and dropped the price when their was less to replace. I highly recommend Ricks for there great work and for not trying to up sale the job when I was in a clogged up and in a bind.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the nice review and thank you for the opportunity to do the work for you.

Brent did an awesome job replacing field lines for us this week at a rental house! I would recommend him to anyone. He's done entire septic systems for me in the past. If your septic system isn't working as it should, we would recommend calling Brent at Rick's Septic.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the good review and thank you for the work.

Called for a septic pump. Was informed he would have to locate the tank and that would be $400 due to age of the system and no access. Then he could pump it. After the “locate” and $400 later was informed that he did not pump tanks anymore and I’d have to call someone else. Hired a crew to dig for access to the tank where it was “located” it was in fact not located there. $400 later, and two holes in the lawn I definitely feel that I was ripped off on this one. He did arrive quickly, but “located” the tank and left just as quick. Definitely do not recommend this company.

    Response from the owner

So sorry you feel this way , because we strive for complete customer satisfaction. We really wished you would have contacted us first to try resolve the issue sooner. As we explained to you on the phone we do not pump our selves but have access to pumping for our customers.

    February 2025

Brent, with Rick's Septic of Chattanooga, replaced the field lines of our septic tank. Their quote for the work was thousands less than other services in town. Brent took into account our future landscaping plans when replacing the field lines and marked the placement of the lines so that the landscapers would know the location of the lines after Brent and his team covered them and graded the area. Brent and his team arrived promptly, worked diligently, and completed the work in one day. They were respectful of our property and did a great job.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the nice review.
