My husband had try to unclog the kitchen drain and it just would not work. I look online and read the reviews about this company. I decided to give them a try and we are very happy with the results. They had very good customer service over the phone and in our home. We will call them again if needed.

Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and on time. The technician did a great job with the toilet wax-ring replacement. He could have done better cleaning up after himself, but my wife and I took care of it. The only drawback is the price. Although military discount was offered, almost $400 was still very expensive for a job that only took about 30 minutes to repair. I would still use them again but only after seeking other prices for their competitors.

I am downgrading my review of Powell's Plumbing, drastically. After a great experience with them at my home (review below) I had them replace a hot water shutoff valve at a local condo building. They quoted me a cost $668. I figured that was just a quote and the actual price if completed quickly would be less. Kevin (the tech) did a great job and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. I called the office to find out what the final bill would be...you guessed it, $668 for a 30 minute job. The quote was not altered after the work was done.

We operate strictly on upfront, flat-rate pricing. Before any work began, Kevin provided you with a clear written proposal for the job (Friday, 9/4/26). You reviewed that proposal, and called in Tuesday morning (9/8/26) and accepted the terms, which we fit you in and performed the work on the same day. To be clear, Kevin was already on site working in the basement before you arrived as the basement was open. Flat-rate pricing covers the task itself, not the time spent on site. That price remains the exact same whether the task takes 20 minutes, 5 hours, or 10 hours. Kevin is a master of his craft and his proficiency allowed him to complete the task quickly, efficiently, and without fail, but you are paying for his expertise, licensing, equipment, and a guaranteed fix, not an hourly fee. I do apologize if the tone from our office staff felt sharp when discussing the invoice. We always strive to communicate professionally. However, regarding the bill itself, we delivered the exact service agreed upon for the exact price approved in your signed contract. We appreciate your past business and regret that we will not have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.
