Had our pump and control panel replaced. Was told we may be eligible for a refund on our 2-year-old pump, but the representative quit responding to my inquiries!

Response from the owner

Hi Christy, we installed a panel 2 years ago. Warranty is taken up with the manufacturer of the panel and or pump, not our company. Also- the warranty is only handled by the manufacturer of the items. I understand your frustration but you have not voiced any concerns with us and we have no record of phone call history, or emails with you since our last visit. Please consider removing your review as it can hurt small businesses especially when frustration can be misplaced.

Buyer beware. They installed a new pump 7/2024 and went bad in 6/2026 while we were on vacation. They said the work was done and I had an electrical problem. Electrician shows up and there IS power to the panel, but panel's bad. I was billed and paid for a new one, which was never installed and was left with a non working septic when we returned. Electrician came back and jumped power to the pump float so it would stop spilling over into the yard. NC Septic is aware of the problem but won't come to do the work they were paid to do, despite several promises to show up.

Response from the owner

We have been out to your property several times. The pump has been working on each occasion. We have called and texted you to no avail. Feel free to contact us directly if there is an issue you’d like addressed.

Several reviewers describe fast scheduling and a technician named Tyler who explains what he finds. Kristin wrote that she called and "was able to schedule for a pump within 24 hours". Justin credits a routine pumping visit with catching a filter blockage days before it would have backed up into the house, and Sarah describes a sewage backup handled the same day, with every drain in the house checked before the crew left.

Around Huntersville, the main drain-field limit is slow water movement: water leaves the soil too slowly for a conventional field to keep up. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Huntersville city page for the full soil profile.

Before You Call

Ahead of a house closing, the inspection is the piece with a deadline attached, since a problem found before signing leaves room to negotiate and a problem found after belongs to the new owner. NC Septic & Pump Specialist offers septic inspections for property transactions, and the call worth making is to ask how soon a visit can happen if the signing date is already set.
