I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly aunt, who hired Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Clearwater to replace the original 1960s DWV piping throughout her home with modern PVC. Early in the project, I inspected the site to verify that the work complied with local building codes. When I asked about the required city permit, my aunt informed me that Mr. Rooter repeatedly assured her a permit was unnecessary. This was inaccurate and misleading; a project of this scale legally required a permit from the city. Advising a homeowner otherwise constitutes severe negligence.

Did urinal repair that had a one year warranty. It started doing the same thing we called a repair for with in three months, so we have been calling to get them to come back out to fix it again and you can only leave messages and they never call you back. I called the corporate office to try and see if they are still in business and even the corporate office said they would call back and after three weeks of leaving messages and not getting called back I am now leaving this review in hopes that someone will return one of these calls.

Originally I had a good review, but things have changed. They came out to replace 3 flappers and a faulty refrigerator valve. They left a hose detached in my secondary bathroom (second floor) which was dripping down and caused water damage to drywall on the first floor. They came back out and admitted fault and asked me to get quotes to repair. I shopped around and found them the lowest quote for the least amount of repair. After providing this and following up, I have not heard back from them. Now I’m stuck with an $800 repair.

    Response from the owner

Thank you so much, Richard, for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that Quinton and Damien provided outstanding service and stuck with the job until everything was resolved, regardless of the challenges and extra time involved. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we'll be sure to share your kind words with the team. If you ever need anything in the future, we're always here to help!

Local Ground

Around Clearwater, the main drain-field limit is bottom-layer seepage: water moves through the soil too fast to treat effluent before it reaches groundwater. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Clearwater city page for the full soil profile.
