About Meaux's Plumbing and Tank Service

From the website of Meaux's Plumbing and Tank Service, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Meaux's Plumbing and Tank Service pumps septic tanks and takes on inspections, new installations and emergency repairs for homes and light commercial properties. Their site says regular pumping keeps a system healthy and prevents backups and odors. That mix covers the routine and the urgent. A tank can go on a pumping schedule, and when a system fails between pump-outs, the company also takes emergency repair calls.

We got our house built just over 3 years and they have came out every few months with the same issues which i wouldve thought we had a faulty pump anyway. Im not sure but wont speak of a warranty on a pump but now we having been waiting for over 2 days for a new pump they have claimed they were bringing. No call or explanation from them telling us anything. Now its Friday and of course they are not coming and Im sure they wont over the weekend. This is just too much. They are too expensive for this unprofessionalism!

To whom it may concern, I am writing to strongly advise potential clients to reconsider using this company’s services. While I typically do not post reviews and prefer to handle service issues privately, the lack of professional accountability I experienced makes it necessary to share my story. I contacted this company for a residential plumbing issue. Despite receiving an invoice for over $600.00, the original problem resurfaced within 36 hours. When I reached out to have the matter resolved, I was informed that the company does not guarantee their workmanship.

I built a house in 2017 and Meauxs Plumbing was the original installer of the septic system . Every since then I have had them out here repeatedly on and off every year or so for a problem. Today I was charged $950.00 for spray pumps that operate the sprinkler and they also stated they had cleaned the tanks. I have never been charged less than $300.00 when thet have had to come out. Im not a plumber guy, but I suggest if you have them to put your system in , that you get some knowledge of your system. The secretary is mouthy so watch for that when calling.

Before You Call

A house changing hands with a septic tank on site raises one decision: whether the system gets inspected before closing day. Meaux's offers inspections alongside pumping and repairs, and what an inspection covers is a fair question for that first call.
