Very disappointed with Marion Pumpers. A lady and a young man came to service my septic tank because it was overflowing. They were even standing on top of the septic lids while working. Right away they started telling me both septic lids were “bad” and “too old,” even though you could clearly see fresh shovel marks and damage on the lids after they worked on them. They immediately tried to charge me $250 for EACH lid and told me I had no other option or they would leave everything like that.

Response from the owner

I do apologize that you received this type of treatment. This is absolutely NOT our company policy. This will be addressed immediately. Again, I apologize and hope that we can be of better service to you in the future. Theresa May Office Manager.

Made an appointment for septic drainage and never showed up. 4/1/26 Answer for response; (I was called after my scheduled appointment time) Update: After the first appointment didn't go as planned, I was rescheduled. The gentleman who came over was very kind, helpful, and made sure to answer all my questions.

Response from the owner

We tried to reach out to you several times. Your voicemail was full and we couldn’t leave a message. We do apologize for the inconvenience and will try to continue to communicate.

Before You Call

For a tank that needs pumping, a homeowner can book that service alone or ask whether signs of a drain field problem call for repair work too. One useful phone question is what work the crew expects to handle during the visit.
