    January 2026

On New Years Eve my septic system backed up into toilets and shower. I contacted Greenworks for service. 2 days later I Received and accepted written estimate for septic pumping. Upon arrival tech determined I did not need a pumping that I only had 5 inches of solids.but I did have a clog at the main line. I asked what the remedy woul d be and he said he could jet the line to clear it. I Had a plumber on standby and should I call him. I asked the cost and he said with the service call it would be $350. This was verbal.

    Response from the owner

Hello Pam, We would like to address some of the statements you made. Yes, during the appointment it was determined that pumping was not needed so the service was dropped down in cost to a service call to determine the cause of the backing up you were experiencing. The technician was unable to visually see any clog at the inlet, so he suspected a clog in the mainline. Since we were called out for a pumping, the technician was not prepared for the jetting that you had approved to be done. Since there are no network gas stations on the island, our technician had to run into town to get gas for the jetting machine. Upon return, and after jetting, we were still unable to clear the blockage which unfortunately happens sometimes. For the inconvenience of the failed jetting to clear the blockage, we gave you half off the of the jetting cost. The technician suspected possible pipe corrosion of the mainline could be the cause since we visually saw no blockage in your inlet and the jetting of the mainline did not successfully clear the blocking issue you were experiencing, at which time our technician recommended that you contact a plumber. Our service call cost is to cover the time out, technicians’ knowledge, tools and minor repairs depending on the issue. Unfortunately, we are not always able to clear up all the issues our technicians may come across but we always try our best.

Riley was absolutely awesome, just repaired my septic and helped out in numerous ways with advice that other septic companies won't help with at all. I HIGHlY recommend these guys for your septic needs and especially Riley. Seriously don't call Norsky or anyone from out of town, I have had horrible experiences from other companies and this one is THE BEST! Don't go anywhere else.

    Response from the owner

Thank you! We appreciate your business!
