    Very expensive. But the quality of work and techs are good. Maybe it's the industry norm. Perhaps the outrageous prices charged in the news by others is actually pretty standard? Hard to say.. Not sure. But regardless. For 1.5hrs of work. (About 20 of which was the primary tech training the 2nd tech), it was $600 in labor. So a water heater gas valve replacement that the parts were under warranty still cost $600 just for labor. I know they have good equipment and trucks etc. But this was close to a diy job, pretty simple.

    Service was fine, but $350 for a shower cartridge change was expensive (20 minute job without providing parts). I only realize this after my electrician charged me only $250 for 2 hours' job, lately. One hour plumbing labor could have been reasonable ($150). If not, still, it shouldn't have been more than $200. I will look for other businesses next time.

    We had a new sump pump with back up installed as well as the storm pit and the ejector pump pit both fitted with pit liners so the the pits were brought up to code. They also put covers on and bolted them down. All of a sudden, the storm pump back up alarm was going off, so we called Capps right away. We had to do this because the covers were bolted down and being seniors it was impossible for either of us to get the cover off to diagnose the problem ourselves.
