About Behle Inc

From the website of Behle Inc, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Behle Inc takes on septic work from repair and system design to full installation. Emergency septic service is part of that, and their site says it is available 24/7. Standing water near the tank or drain field, an alarm on the control panel, or drains slowing down are the kinds of signs they point to.

Septic Services in Ames

Quoted from the website of Behle Inc, read 15 Sept 2026.

Routine work fills out the schedule too. Behle pumps tanks and clears solids and sludge from tanks and pump chambers. The company says regular inspections catch problems early, prevent costly repairs and give homeowners and buyers peace of mind. Soil plays into it around Ames as well. Across much of the rated ground, water leaves the soil too slowly, and a drain field depends on exactly that movement.

Rich came out today and cleaned out our septic tanks. He was great to work with, professional and performed his work quickly and efficiently. Rich even went to the point of working us in today as opposed to our second scheduled date of Monday, May 18. My boss will be glad I do not have to miss work:) Not sure about the price, $518.00 seemed high, but I do not know what that service goes for, great work Rich!

Response from the owner

Thanks, Rodney! We’re glad Rich was able to work you in sooner and help save you from missing work. Septic issues never seem to happen at a convenient time. We appreciate the honest feedback and are happy to hear Rich made the experience a good one from start to finish.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Reviews put names to the crews. Several describe Rich pumping septic tanks, and one recounts a three-person visit that pumped a tank and jetted a main line that tree roots had blocked. Ashley writes that after a call about her tank, they "got us done right away." Christian turns up in several reviews as well. Homeowners describe him answering questions and, in one case, showing the final result before he left.
