After making a successful offer on a property in Gig Harbor WA, one of the first things I needed to do was to reach out for quotes from three local septic designers. One of the vendors never responded and of the two who did, Tom Purdum quickly became the front runner for getting the job. I initially left a message for Tom asking him to give me a call if he would be interested in submitting a quote for the work I needed done.

Tom was great to work with. He explained everything in plain English and made the whole septic process a lot less confusing. He was easy to get ahold of, answered my questions, and helped keep things moving. I really appreciated his help and would definitely recommend American Septic Design.

    Response from the owner

Thank you! It was a pleasure working with you and your family.

Highly recommend American Septic Design. I had Tom (the owner) come out because I thought I needed my entire drainfield replaced. Instead of just taking the job, he pointed out that the system wasn't even that old and it was weird it was failing. Without me even asking, he went ahead and contacted the original builder for me. Because of Tom, that builder came out and is already fixing the problem. Tom didn't charge me a single dime for his time or for getting this all sorted out. Honestly, I felt bad that he wouldn't let me pay him anything, it was just incredibly generous of him.

    Response from the owner

Garrett, it was my pleasure! I’m just happy we got you in touch with the right people to make your system function properly.

We worked with American Septic Design when our septic was failing to get a design for the repair and Tom was super helpful and great at explaining the process and walking us through it. When it came time for installation he recommended several companies he had worked with before and we were very happy with the company we went with. I would definitely recommend American Septic Design to anyone trying to navigate the septic repair process!

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the kind words. It was a pleasure working with you!
