I was having issues with water backing up in my shower after washing a load of clothes. I reached out to Alabama Septic and they scheduled me the next day. Due to unforeseen circumstances they wasn’t able to come out the next day but reached out to inform me that I would be the first visit the following day. The technician (Shaway) came out and did an OUTSTANDING job pumping my septic tank. He was very knowledgeable and explained to me how everything works. He also gave me several tips for routine maintenance. This was my second time using Alabama Septic but it definitely won’t be my last.

This company comes out and takes care of their clients as soon as a need arises without charging excess "emergency fees". A pleasure to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to explain everything in detail. Look forward to using them again when we have to install a new septic system.

I called to get our septic cleaned out and got an appointment the next day. I was informed of the price up front. I received a call about 40 mins before they came to let me know they were on the way. When the two gentleman showed up they were very polite and kind. They explained what they were going to do. They finished the job quickly and thorough. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again.

Jimmy came out and looked at our septic field and priced our project for a field replacement but thought there was a chance to repair the existing. When the team came out to install, they examined the old field and found positive evidence it was still functioning and suspected blockage upstream. Sure enough tree roots caused a blockage not far the tank. They upgraded our existing tank with risers and a filter and laid 4 inch pve from the tank to the field lines. It cost 1/2 of the original estimate. How many honest contractors do you come across.

Response from the owner

We are grateful for the opportunity to be of service and earning your trust. Thank you again for choosing Alabama Septic Services!

For a backup, the immediate decision is whether to request tank pumping or ask for the cause to be diagnosed before work begins. One useful phone question is whether the visit can evaluate both the tank and the line leading toward the drain field.
