Very Disappointing Experience We hired A1 Septic to pump and inspect our septic system a couple of weeks ago. Before they started, I specifically told them that the prior homeowner had informed us the system consisted of two septic tanks and one dosing tank. A1 located and pumped only one septic tank and the dosing tank. While they were still onsite, I reconfirmed with the prior owner that there was indeed a second septic tank . Despite this, they refused to look any further for the additional tank and insisted that our system only needed one.

    Response from the owner

Christina, I am sincerely sorry that you feel you had a bad experience with A1 Septic. However, I am convinced that you simply do not understand that this septic tank is one tank, with a baffle, therefore, two compartments. They are not separate components. The second tank is the dosing tank which houses the pump for your septic system. The septic tank was pumped (which is what was included in your charge) There was no other tank to be pumped. Inasmuch as the form you refer to, it was noted in the email " if anything else was needed just to let me know," which we never heard from you and therefore, assumed everything was fine. I advised her that the form requested to be completed, had been updated from a DOH form to a DEP form, which I mentioned to her when she furnished to me in an email.

Made an appointment last weekend for today at 430 and received a call 20 mins before to let us know they will not be coming. Was told that they sent all their workers home because they were slow and didnt have work for them to do until our scheduled appointment time.... my mind is blown that they didnt even have the decency to call earlier in the day when they first realized they didnt have ebough work and sent them home?!?

    Response from the owner

Hi Tara, we sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced. Your feedback is important to us, and we understand how disappointing this situation was. We are committed to improving our communication and service. Thank you for sharing your experience with A1 Septic Service Inc.

Very poor service called schedule appointment. They told me they could get to it the same day no call no-show. I had to call them the next day told me that it was a $415 rate they come out pump my Septic charged me an additional $50 that was not discussed and just billed it to me anyways so do yourself a favor folks stay far away from this company, the bad reviews speak for itself very unprofessional people.

    Response from the owner

This review does not tell the entire story. This customer was quoted $ 415.00 for the pump service. However, an additional service was performed (which he asked us to check and perform if necessary) to pull and clean the filter and he was charged an additional $ 50.00 for that service.
