    I hired them to come out and empty my septic tank October 7, 2025. Two Asian men arrived who barely spoke English, Which is an issue when you’re trying to communicate. It took forever for them to find the septic tank, even though I pointed out the general area that it was in. During the process of searching for the septic tank, they ended up poking a hole in my sprinkler system, PVC pipe and causing a leak. I took video and pictures and they admitted they were at fault. I had my sprinkler company come and make the Repair, which was a little over $200.

    Thai Phuih and Di Siu from Charlotte, NC, were SO helpful when they came out to diagnose an issue we were having with our septic tank. They worked hard and very quickly found the issue and fixed it right away. Wind River is extremely lucky to have such experienced and hard workers on their team! I'm very grateful for their help and they will definitely be my first choice for any septic needs going forward!

    THEY DON'T REMOVE SOLIDS 1st Choice pumped our septic last year. Only 10 months later we had a backup and got a different company to pump it. It turns out 1st Choice just pumped the water out and didn't remove any of the solids! So much money wasted on septic pumps because 1st Choice doesn't want to do it the right way!

    I recently engaged this company for septic tank pumping, only to discover that my pump was malfunctioning, which was causing the high levels. Instead of providing an estimate for the pump repair, they recommended an expensive replacement of the electric panel and floaters, costing nearly $2,000. This solution wouldn't have addressed the core issue, and I suspect additional charges for the pump would've been introduced later on. It's worth noting that customers are required to agree to these costs before comprehensive diagnostics are conducted.
